All courses are available to study flexibly online with additional support via video link. This is the flexible option for those looking to specialise in the commercial side of motorsport management, where they can study a short course or the full Master’s degree alongside their other commitments.

Given the current coronavirus restrictions, online courses have been springing up everywhere, but the National Motorsport Academy is a step ahead of many institutions as it already benefits from years of experience of teaching the popular engineering qualifications online via its own interactive platform. And with the pandemic leading many to ponder career changes, the new business school is the ideal place to start for those seeking a management role in the commercial world of motorsport.

The courses are targeted at those who were perhaps considering studying for a Master of Business Administration or Sports related MA with a keen interest in motorsport. Whether you’re an engineer in the process of setting up a team or want to drive forward an existing operation, the qualifications will give you the skills and understanding you need.

One of the mottos of the Academy is ‘earn while you learn’, and the new business courses are designed to be fully flexible. You can start studying whenever you like and can complete the qualification at a pace that suits your existing commitments. Everything is completed online, and you will be learning from tutors that have decades of experience in senior roles within motorsport.

The Master’s degree begins with a module looking at the history and governance of the sport to give a perfect initial overview, before covering areas such as sponsorship, the role of the media, commerce, and building a successful motorsport brand are explored in more detail.
