Miller leads Friday practice for the French MotoGP at Le Mans.
After a fully wet morning session, a damp track and spots of rain greeted the riders this afternoon.
Miller soon defied the tricky conditions to prove slick tyres were the best option. Others switched over as the track continued to improve until the end of the 45-minutes, when the Australian returned to the top.
There were no accidents in the MotoGP class today until the closing stages of FP2 when Espargaro and then Dovizioso lowsided at the first chicane, while surprise morning leader Smith suffered a big highside at Turn 11, limping slowly away. Binder and Nakagami also took a tumble in the final laps.
HRC test rider Bradl continues to replace injured reigning world champion Marc Marquez.
