Pierre Gasly has revealed a special helmet in tribute to Ayrton Senna for the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix.
Pierre Gasly’s helmet

Gasly’s helmet matches the design worn by Senna throughout his career. While other drivers have worn Senna’s colours in past tributes, one additional point of similarity between Gasly and Senna’s designs is that it includes prominent Honda branding.
Senna was powered by Honda from 1987 to 1992, and scored 32 of his 41 wins with their engines. He scored his first Honda-powered win at Imola circuit in the 1988 San Marino Grand Prix.
Senna died in 1994 when he crashed at the Imola circuit which is hosting this weekend’s Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix.
Gasly said he is “remembering one of my idol with this special helmet” this weekend. “Legends are never forgotten.”
Daniil Kvyat’s helmet

Daniil Kvyat, who spent much of his early career racing in Italy, also has a special helmet design for the country’s third F1 race this season.
